The Trouble Is, You Think You Have Time

It is so easy to think, “I have time, I’ll get to that later.” We think we have time, but then it passes and runs out. The truth is, we have all the time there is. Each and every one of us has the same amount each day. It’s how we use the time we are given that is important.

Part of Discovering Your Warrior’s Edge is the realization that we all will die. I write more on this else where, and have more to write about it in the future. While we train to stay healthy and live a long time, we never know when our time will be up. That makes each and every minute that we are given special, since we don’t really know how many more we’ll have. Therefore, we must make each and every minute count. Because the do! We have time, but not time to waste.

Don’t put off what is important because you think you’ll have plenty of time later. Do the important things now. Determine what is important to you and use your discipline to make it happen. Because warriors know death, they also know how precious each minute of life is. So don’t waste another moment and live life to the fullest.
