All It Takes Is Ten Mindful Minutes with Andy Puddicombe

This brings up a lesson that Lodro Rinzler taught in The Buddha Walks Into A Bar…  Out of the vast mind, incredibly precise and subtle actions will manifest.  We want to keep a big mind, but be precise with our actions.  This way of relating to the world can begin at home, but it is of course applicable to the rest of your life, too.  The goal is to learn to hold a vast and spacious mind in all situations.  When we relax into opening up our mind and heart fully, then our actions will naturally flow from that vantage point.

A Karate instructor friend of mine, Iain Abernethy, shared this video on taking ten mindful minutes each day.  It is worth taking nine and a half minutes to watch it.

When is the last time you did absolutely nothing for 10 whole minutes? Not texting, talking or even thinking?
