There is a lot of Internet chatter going on about Renzo Gracie and the guys he beat up and tweeted about as the events unfolded.
It appears that the two may have intended to mug him, and he decided to teach them a lesson. He tweeted his thoughts and what he did on his twitter account, including pictures like the one of his hand shown here.
I had planned to write quite a bit about this, but my friend Wim Demeere beat me to it. He wrote a great blog post on the incident, and I encourage you to read it. All I’ll add right now is, as an attorney, it would be much easier being a prosecutor in this matter than defending Gracie by the tweets that are out there. Sure, we need to know all the facts, but those tweets can be very damaging in the legal sense.
