Personal Excellence is Living with the Warrior’s Edge

“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.”
― Confucius

Each and every one of us should strive for personal excellence in all we do. No, you won’t be better than everyone in everything. That’s not the point. Strive to be your very best. Be better than you were yesterday. Discovering your warrior’s edge is another way of discovering personal excellence. It’s a powerful way to live.

Cultivate the will to win and the desire to succeed in all that you do. You won’t always make it, but the will should be there and the desire must be there as well. You’ll then learn from your mistakes, setbacks and failures to come back stronger the next time.

Without the will to win, the desire to succeed, and the urge to reach your full potential, you will never be as excellent as you can be. Be your very best.
How tall does a tree grow? As tall as it can. That’s what I want for you and that is the key to personal excellence. Become the best you can become.
Cultivate the will to win in all things. Not being a jerk or bad sport, but do everything the best you can. The desire to succeed must burn inside of you, and it must burn bright. Never think of giving up on those things you determine are important. You must not quit. Succeed!

Personal excellence isn’t something to read about or think about. It’s something to live. We train in martial arts to develop our body, mind and spirit. The discipline crosses over to other areas of our lives. We practice personal excellence and strive to become better each and every day.

Personal excellence is a result of living with the Warrior’s Edge.
